Dodgers Reinstate Yasiel Puig

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today reinstated outfielder Yasiel Puig from the 15-day disabled list (left hamstring strain) and optioned outfielder Scott Schebler to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Puig last appeared in a Major League game on April 24 and has a .279 batting average with two homers and four RBI in 11 games with the Dodgers this year. He made two rehab appearances with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on May 7-8 before re-injuring his hamstring and resumed his assignment with the Quakes on Thursday, going 3-for-7 with a double and a home run in two games in right field.

Schebler was recalled yesterday and made his Major League debut last night, starting in left field and going 1-for-3.
