WASHINGTON -- Nationals pitchers Doug Fister (forearm strain) and Sammy Solis (shoulder inflammation) had bullpen sessions Thursday afternoon and were able to throw all of their pitches without any problems.
"Doug threw 40ish pitches in the bullpen today and he felt good," Nationals manager Matt Williams said. "He threw all of them -- his changeup, his curveball and cutter. He came out of it really feeling really good. To have a heavier load, we have to see how he is [Friday]."
