Omaha improved to 2-1 in a four-game home series. Alex Rios continued his rehab assignment, hitting a two-run homer in the first. Tacoma tied the game at 2-2 in the fourth, with Reymond Fuentes' RBI single in the fifth putting Omaha ahead for good. Brett Eibner's two-run homer capped the scoring. John Lamb (5.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 SO) picked up his team-leading fifth win.

NW Arkansas Naturals (29-15)

Northwest Arkansas dropped to 0-2 in a battle between division leaders. Corpus Christi took an early lead with five in the first off of Miguel Almonte (3.0 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO). Jorge Bonifacio and Hunter Dozier each drove in a run in the home half, though 5-2 was as close as the Naturals would get. Balbino Fuenmayor posted two hits, upping his average to .365.

Wilmington opened a four-game road series with a doubleheader sweep. Alec Mills went the distance in game one, striking out eight while allowing a run, four hits and a walk over 7.0 innings. Jack Lopez started the scoring with a solo homer in the first. Blue Springs native Logan Moon was 2-for-2 with a double, a triple and a walk. He drove in a run and also scored. Cam Gallagher recorded a third consecutive multi-hit game, going 2-for-2 plus an RBI. Luis Rico picked up the win in game two, striking out five while holding Potomac to a run over 5.0 innings. Carlos Garcia led the offense in game two, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run.

Lexington Legends (20-26)

Lexington 4, Kannapolis 3

Kyle Pollock delivered a go-ahead two-run double in the ninth as Lexington salvaged the finale at Kannapolis. The Legends rallied from a 3-0 deficit, scoring all four runs from the sixth inning on. Humberto Arteaga tripled home Mike Hill for the first run and singled to set up Lexington's second tally. Matt Strahm had a terrific outing as he tossed 3.0 scoreless innings, recording all nine outs on strikeouts. Evan Beal worked a scoreless ninth for the save. The Legends return home to host Greenville (Red Sox) on Thursday.
