Duanel Jones, 22, who was playing both first and third with low Single-A Fort Wayne was transferred to Double-A San Antonio. Jones, a native of the Dominican Republic, was hitting .327 (50-for-153) for the TinCaps with 11 doubles, seven home runs and 36 RBIs. He ranked seventh in the Midwest League in batting average, tied for third in homers and second in RBIs.
Jones replaces Missions third baseman Casey McElroy, who was promoted to Triple-A to take Lindsey's spot. McElroy, 25, was hitting .266 for the Missions with four doubles, a triple and two homers for 20 RBIs.
Lindsey was hitting .228 for El Paso with three doubles, a triple and seven RBIs.
Jones was 3-for-6 Tuesday with a double and two RBIs as 17-27 Fort Wayne swept a doubleheader from Great Lakes by scores of 4-2 and 4-3.
Outfielder Edwin Moreno (.267) was 3-for-5 in the two games with two doubles, a triple, a RBI and two runs scored. First baseman Trae Santos (.245) was 2-for-6 with two RBIs. Center fielder Michael Gettys (.228) had two doubles and two RBIs in three at-bats in the second game.
Shortstop Ruddy Giron, who was named the Midwest League Player of the Week earlier Tuesday, went hitless in both games, ending an eight-game hitting streak and lowering his batting average to .455.
Left-handed starter Thomas Dorminy (4-3, 4.82 earned run average) allowed two runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts in six innings of the seven-inning opener to get the win. Right-hander Colby Blueberg (0.64 ERA) pitched a perfect inning to get his second save.
Right-hander Yimmi Brasoban (3.68) allowed three runs on five hits and a walk with four strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in the seven-inning second game. Left-hander Kyle McGrath (2-0, 3.75 ERA) allowed a hit with three strikeouts over 3 1/3 scoreless innings to get the win.

TRIPLE-A EL PASO (24-21): ROUND ROCK 5-1, Chihuahuas 3-2 - Starting LHP Robbie Erlin (5-3, 5.74 ERA) allowed a run on two hits with five strikeouts over five innings as El Paso won the second game to gain a split of the seven-inning games. LHP Eury De La Rosa (3.14 ERA) allowed a hit with a strikeout in a scoreless inning in his debut in the Padres
organization. RHP Jay Jackson (1.45 ERA) had a strikeout in a perfect inning to get his third save. DH-3B Cody Decker (.270) hit his 11th homer and drove in a second run with a sacrifice fly in the doubleheader. 1B Jake Goebbert (.250) was 3-for-6 with hit first homer and two RBIs. C Rocky Gale (.311) was 1-for-3 with a RBI double. Starting RHP Daniel McCutchen (4.22 ERA) allowed two runs on six hits with three strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings of the opener. RHP Nick Vincent (2-2, 3.31 ERA) gave up two runs on two hits in one-third of an inning to suffer the loss. RHP Marcos Mateo allowed a run on two hits and a walk in an inning to be charged with the blown save.
DOUBLE-A SAN ANTONIO (18-26): -- ARKANSAS 1, Missions 0 - SS Trea Turner (.344) was 2-for-4 with a double and his ninth stolen base to extend his hitting streak to 10 games while reaching base in a 25th straight game. Starting RHP Bryan Rodriguez (3-6, 4.11 ERA) suffered the loss despite allowing only one run on seven hits and two walks with six
strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. RHP Michael Dimock (1.96 ERA) allowed a hit and a walk in 1 1/3 scoreless innings. RHP Dennis O'Grady (6.20 ERA) pitched a perfect inning.
