The Orioles have agreed to a Minor League contract with Cuban left-hander Ariel Miranda, a source confirmed to MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez. The deal is pending a physical. The team has not commented.
The 25-year-old Miranda pitched professionally in Cuba from 2007-13, posting a 22-25 record, 3.78 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 80 appearances (64 starts).
He has struck out 274 batters and walked 151 in 386 innings.
