What to watch for in today's games

There's a full day of baseball across the board today. Here are a few things to watch for:

• Home cooking: MIN@PIT, 7:05 p.m.
PNC Park may be just the place for Jeff Locke to get back on track, as he has endured a winless five-start stretch. In that time, he's posted an ERA of 7.27, but he's 4-1 with a 2.56 ERA all-time against the American League and his home ERA (4.05) is half as bad as his road ERA (8.10) this season.

• Weaver finding his form: LAA@TOR, 7:07 p.m.
After a rocky start to the season, Jered Weaver is hitting his stride. He started the season with a 6.29 ERA through six starts, then tossed a shutout against the Astros and extended a scoreless streak to 16 innings before giving up a solo homer Friday.

• Greene ailing: MIL@DET, 7:08 p.m.
Young Tigers righty Shane Greene left his last start early with mild ulnar tendinitis, but he's still scheduled to take the ball tonight against the visiting Brewers after his MRI came back clean. Kyle Lohse gets the nod for Milwaukee after a strong last outing.

• Marcum starting again: CLE@CWS, 8:10 p.m.
Right-hander Shaun Marcum will make his first Major League start since 2013 tonight, when he takes on rookie left-hander Carlos Rodon and the White Sox. Marcum was 4-0 with a 1.36 ERA in five starts with Triple-A Columbus this year, and he's 4-0 with a 1.99 ERA in six career starts against the Sox.
