Yohan Pino worked 5.0 innings, holding the Redbirds to a run, four hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Omaha pitchers allowed eight walks plus two hit batters in game two. Dusty Coleman had two hits and an RBI.

Hunter Dozier delivered a walk-off homer in the 10th as Northwest Arkansas finished with a 3-1 mark vs. Springfield. The Naturals have won 18 of their last 21 games. The Naturals tied the game with two away in the ninth as Terrance Gore was hit by a pitch. Gore added a hit and a steal while lifting his season average to .293.

Lynchburg 7, Wilmington 2

Wilmington dropped the rubber game at Lynchburg. Luis Rico struck out six, allowing four runs (three earned) over 4.2 innings. Kenny Diekroeger went 2-for-3 with an RBI. The Blue Rocks have Monday off before starting a seven-game homestand with the first of three vs. Winston-Salem (White Sox).
