  • Javy Lopez Bobblehead Night presented by Coca-Cola: The first 20,000 fans through the gates to watch the Braves against the Rays will receive a bobblehead featuring Braves legend Javy Lopez.
    • The night will also feature a Q&A with Lopez in Fan Plaza from 6:15-6:30 p.m. that is open to the public. Before the game, he will be honored with a video presentation and will then throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

  • Food Drive: The Atlanta Community Food Bank will be set up in Monument Grove from 6:35-7 p.m. to collect canned goods. Jason Grilli will be signing autographs for fans who donate 20 canned goods or $20 monetary donation. 
  • Honorary Bat Girl: Major League Baseball's Honorary Bat Girl contest recognizes baseball fans who have been affected by breast cancer and who demonstrate a commitment to eradicating the disease. The Honorary Bat Girl for the Atlanta Braves is Tracy Chitwood of Hampton, Ga., who will be recognized before the game on Friday, May 22. Chitwood will serve as the Honorary Team Captain and participate in the exchange of the line-up cards, after which she will meet and greet with the Braves wives. 
  • MLB Breaking Barriers Essay Contest winner: The Breaking Barriers Essay Contest is an MLB initiative that allows diverse students in grades 4-8 to share their personal stories and how they use Jackie Robinson's values to face their own barriers. One of this year's 10 winners is Bizunesh Keith, who hails from Marietta, Ga., and is a fifth-grade student at Davis Elementary School. She will be honored on the field before the game on May 22. 
  • Friday Night Fireworks presented by Georgia Lottery: Fans will be treated to a dazzling display of fireworks over Turner Field following every Friday home game throughout the season.

  • Military Appreciation Day presented by Bank of America: In honor of Memorial Day, the Braves will celebrate the men and women who serve in our nation's military and remember those who have fallen while serving in our country's armed forces. A special pregame ceremony will feature a video presentation, as well as a moment of silence, 21 gun salute to the fallen and the recognition of a service member from each branch of the military.
    • Following the game, Braves players will autograph their game-worn military appreciation jerseys and put them up for auction at www.Braves.com/charityauctions. From May 25-June 7 fans can bid on these jerseys, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting military-supportive charities.
  • Hometown Hero: The Braves will honor a local military member during the game.
  • 7th inning stretch: Performance of God Bless America by Timothy Miller of the Atlanta Opera. 
  • Band of the Year: Preston Summerville was born and raised on his family's farm in Polk County, Ga. His songs portray moments of his life, his faith, and his love and really captures the minds and attention of any audience listening. This band was selected to participate in a season-long competition, and following the 2015 season, one band will be named the "Atlanta Braves Band of the Year." Summerville is also an active supporter of our military through his work with the Boot Campaign, a national 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting patriotism and assisting military personnel and their families.
  • Yoga day: The Braves will host a yoga class on the field before the game. Fans can sign up at www.Braves.com/yoga.
  • Movie night: Stay after the game on May 23 and watch a free postgame screening of The Sandlot on BravesVision. Fans can purchase tickets or packages at www.Braves.com/movienight.

  • Kids pregame parade presented by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta: Kids 14 and under, along with their parents, are invited to join the Braves for a pregame parade around the field. (Please note: the pregame parade will take the place of Kids Run the Bases this week only due to the postgame concert).
