Braves pitcher Mike Minor undergoes shoulder surgery

ATLANTA - Atlanta Braves left-handed pitcher Mike Minor underwent successful surgery yesterday (Wednesday, May 12th) to repair the labrum in his left shoulder. The operation was performed in Los Angeles, Calif., by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

Minor, who has been sidelined since spring training, was placed on the disabled list on April 5th with left shoulder inflammation. He will miss the remainder of the 2015 season and is expected to be ready to pitch at the start of the 2016 spring season.
