Go Fest '15 will feature an amphitheater-style concert configuration, including an on-field section immediately in front of the stage.
"We're thrilled with this lineup and look forward to bringing our brand of modern music to downtown Minneapolis," said Joe Pohlad, Executive Vice President of Northern Lights Broadcasting. "Music fans can expect a one-of-a-kind concert experience with the Minneapolis Skyline as the backdrop."
Tickets for the event start at $9.63, going on sale to the general public on Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at twinsbaseball.com/gofest and tickets.com.
Matt and Kim are the Brooklyn-based synthesizer rock duo of Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino. They released their fifth album, New Glow, in April featuring the catchy single "Get It." Live, Matt and Kim stir up crowds with positive, energetic antics, and love jumping into the fracas.
Cold War Kids are a veteran indie rock band from Southern California. Songs like "Hang Me Up to Dry" and "Miracle Mile" show off lead singer Nathan Willett's impressive vocal power. The group released their fifth album, Hold My Home, in 2014.
Big Data are an electronic pop project led by producer Alan Wilkis. Their singles include "Dangerous" featuring Joywave, and "The Business of Emotion" with White Sea. Both songs arrived on their debut album, 2.0.
MS MR (pronounced "miz mister") are the New York-based duo of vocalist Lizzy Plapinger and producer Max Hershenow. Their 2013 album Secondhand Rapture featured the single "Hurricane." They recently released "Painted" from a to-be-named project.
Meg Myers is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter originally from Tennessee's Smoky Mountains. Myers' passionate single "Sorry" is expected to appear on her debut album, which is scheduled for release later in 2015.
Additional acts will be announced as the date approaches.
