Carlos Marmol

The Indians today signed RHP CARLOS MARMOL on a Minor League contract. 

Marmol, 32, owns a career Major League record of 23-35 with 117 saves and a 3.57 ERA across nine seasons and 519 games from 2006-14 (13GS, 577.0IP, 385H, 229ER, 395BB, 744SO, .188AVG). He spent 8 years with the Chicago Cubs, 2006-13, before splitting the 2014 season between the Miami and Cincinnati organizations. Marmol was a 2008 National League All-Star and finished 4th in the NL in saves in 2010 (38). He reported to the Goodyear Player Development Complex this afternoon.
