Playoff berths don't come cheaply and postseason victories are even harder to attain, but the same can't be said about the Angels' Rally Monday celebration, which gives Angels fans a chance to celebrate the Halos' second consecutive division title.
On the evening of Oct. 3, Angels fans are invited to join a rally in Angel Stadium which will recount the team's successful regular season and take a look ahead toward the postseason. The event is completely free to the public and will run 6-8 p.m. PT, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. PT.
Broadcasters Steve Physioc and Rex Hudler will welcome the fans, who will be seated directly behind the Angels' dugout. There will also be music, team videos on the scoreboard and an aerial surprise to open the event.
Physioc and Hudler will kick off the rally by recapping the Angels' season before conducting a series of raffle giveaways to attending fans. Former players will be interviewed about their Angels and postseason memories, after which more items will be raffled.
The entire celebration will be capped by a 15-minute fireworks show.
Fans wanting to attend needn't RSVP, buy tickets or do anything else -- other, of course, than show up at Angel Stadium Monday evening to cheer the Angels into the postseason.
