Twins place Stauffer on disabled list
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Tim Stauffer on the disabled list with a right intercostal strain (retroactive to April 30).
To replace Stauffer on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Pressly from Triple-A Rochester. Pressly went 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA (10.0 IP, 5 ER) in seven relief appearances this season for Triple-A Rochester. The 26-year-old made 74 relief appearances over the past two seasons with the Twins, posting a 3.60 ERA (105.0 IP, 42 ER) with 35 walks and 63 strikeouts.
Pressly (#57) will be in uniform and available for tonight's game vs. Chicago.
