Giants to make up rainout with May 23 doubleheader

LOS ANGELES -- The Giants announced Monday that their rained-out game against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday, May 23.

Starting times have been scheduled for 1:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. PT.

That date is part of a previously scheduled stretch of games on 16 consecutive days for the Giants. Now, they'll play 17 games in 16 days -- 10 at home and seven on the road.
