KANSAS CITY, Mo. (April 27, 2015) - Kansas City Royals pitcher Edinson Volquez announced today that he is dropping the appeal of his five-game suspension handed down by Major League Baseball on Saturday and will begin serving it with tonight's 5:10 p.m. CT contest against the Cleveland Indians.
