ON THE FIELD:
- Bases will be lined with Phillies Red Goes Green jewels and fans will be treated to Red Goes Green tips on PhanaVision before and during the game.
- Recognition Elliott Karetny from Timber Creek Regional High School as the winning teacher of the 2015 Citizens Bank Phillies Red Goes Green Sustainability Initiative Contest. Karetny leads his students in many projects, including performing energy audits in their classrooms, composting and maintaining a 1,000 square foot rain garden that serves as an outdoor classroom.
- Shawn Garvin, Regional Administrator for the U.S. EPA Mid-Atlantic Region, will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
WHO: Mary Ann Moyer, Director, Phillies' Red Goes Green Program, will be available for interviews, as well as vendor representatives showcasing green demonstrations.
