Mr. Cub leads voting for club's Franchise Four

PITTSBURGH -- Which four Cubs players best represent the franchise?

In fan balloting of the Franchise Four so far, Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, heads the list followed by Hall of Famers Ryne Sandberg, Ron Santo and Billy Williams. Fans also can vote for Sammy Sosa or Hall of Famers Ferguson Jenkins, Gabby Hartnett and Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown.

Do you have a favorite Cub who wasn't mentioned? You can write him in. The Franchise Four balloting aims at having fans pick the most impactful players who best represent the history of the Cubs.

More than 11.8 million votes have been cast in the Franchise Four voting, and you can cast your ballot here. Voting ends on May 8, and winners from all 30 clubs will be announced at the 2015 All-Star Game, which will take place on July 14 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
