2014 at Target Field: Jordan Zimmermann, Max Scherzer
Scherzer, then with the Tigers, got the victory for the American League squad while striking out two in one inning of work.

2013 at Citi Field: Bryce Harper, Zimmermann, Scherzer
Scherzer got the start for the AL team in his first career All-Star Game appearance, striking out one in a spotless first inning. Harper went 0-for-2, starting in center field.

2012 at Kauffman Stadium: Gio Gonzalez, Harper, Stephen Strasburg, Ian Desmond, Dan Uggla
This was the largest collection of Washington players (four) in the All-Star Game since the team moved from Montreal. Harper came off the bench and walked and struck out, while Uggla (with the Braves at the time) started at second and went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Strasburg gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning, while Gonzalez struck out one in a single frame.

2011 at Chase Field: Gonzalez
Gonzalez, then with the A's, finished the game for the AL squad, striking out the only batter he faced.

2009 at Busch Stadium: Ryan Zimmerman, Jayson Werth
In their All-Star debuts, Zimmerman and Werth combined to go 0-for-3 with a strikeout off the bench.

2008 at Yankee Stadium: Uggla, Nate McLouth
Uggla struck out three times in four at-bats off the bench for the National League squad, and McLouth (with the Pirates) went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.

2006 at PNC Park: Uggla
Uggla, making his All-Star debut while with the Marlins, did not appear in the game in Pittsburgh.
