Fans can watch 161 Royals games on TV this season

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Royals fans are in for a special treat this season -- a record 161 games will be televised.

The Royals have 150 regional telecasts scheduled on FOX Sports Kansas City. Eleven national TV appearances push the total to 161.

The only game not scheduled to be televised is the Aug. 27 home game against Baltimore, a 1:10 CT start.

Six games will be carried on FOX Sports 1, and four will be shown on FOX. ESPN will carry the May 10 game at Detroit as part of its Sunday Night Baseball package.

Last season, 156 Royals games were televised.
