Hellickson ready to go after resting arm

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- D-backs right-hander Jeremy Hellickson said Friday he's feeling better after missing his last start due to a tired arm.

Hellickson is set to start Saturday for the D-backs against the Royals.

"Just a little tired, I guess," Hellickson said. "Spring is just really long and I was already at 70 pitches. It usually happens for a lot of guys during Spring Training."

Hellickson, who was acquired from the Rays during the offseason, has already been assured of a spot in the D-backs' rotation.
