Dodgers announce roster for games in San Antonio

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Dodgers have posted a travel roster for their two-game series with the Rangers in San Antonio that includes Yasiel Puig, Zack Greinke and Adrian Gonzalez.

The teams will play split-squad games this Friday night and Saturday at the Alamodome, while the Dodgers also will play split-squad games those days in Arizona. Dodgers pitchers will begin batting as of the Friday game against Oakland in Arizona, started by Clayton Kershaw.

Erik Bedard is scheduled to start Friday night with Greinke starting Saturday. In addition to Puig and Gonzalez, position players on the list include catcher Yasmani Grandal, Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, Darwin Barney, Alex Guerrero and Enrique Hernandez.

Grandal will be designated hitter on Friday night and catch Greinke on Saturday. Also on the trip are Buck Britton, Darnell Sweeney, Kyle Jensen, Chris O'Brien and Matt Carson.

Joe Wieland, Pedro Baez, Daniel Coulombe, Yimi Garcia and Juan Nicasio are also scheduled to pitch. Tim Wallach will manage the team in San Antonio.
