Murphy slated to return Monday for the Mets

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Mets manager Terry Collins said he expects to have second baseman Daniel Murphy back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Murphy took batting practice prior to Sunday's game for the first time since being struck on his right hand by a fastball from David Price in Friday's game.

The Mets took precautionary X-rays on Saturday, which came back negative, and Murphy said the hand felt good after swinging Sunday.

• Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud left Sunday's game after the fourth inning, when his left ring finger was cut open by a spike while sliding to second base. Collins took him out of the game as a precaution after trainers could not get the finger to stop bleeding, but d'Arnaud did not require stitches.
