Crawford fouls pitch off shin; injury not serious

GOODYEAR, Az. -- Dodgers left fielder Carl Crawford left Saturday's game against Cleveland shortly after fouling a pitch off his right shin.

Crawford finished his fourth-inning at-bat by striking out, then headed to the clubhouse with trainers.

"I came out because it started to swell," said Crawford.

Asked if he was worried the injury might be serious, he said, "No, not really."

Crawford iced the shin and was walking without a limp. He is listed as day to day and said he wouldn't know how bad the bruise was until Sunday.
