Rehabbing Ryu, Peralta on track to throw off mound

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Rehabbing Dodgers pitchers Hyun-Jin Ryu and Joel Peralta remained on track to throw off a bullpen mound on Monday, manager Don Mattingly said on Sunday.

Ryu skipped two days of workouts after developing mid-back stiffness from a Tuesday bullpen session. He has played catch three straight days with no problems.

Peralta will take the mound for the first time in a month after experiencing shoulder stiffness during workouts in the Dominican Republic to prepare for Spring Training. Peralta changed his normal offseason routine of playing winter ball in hopes of assuring he would report to Spring Training healthy.

Rain is forecast for Monday, but Mattingly said pitchers will throw off the mounds in the covered batting cages.

Mike Bolsinger felt a groin muscle twinge in the first inning of throwing batting practice and was shut down for precautionary measures. He will be re-evaluated Monday.
