GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Fans will not only see changes to Progressive Field when Opening Day arrives this year, but they will also have a couple of new ticket offers for the coming season.
On Thursday, the Indians announced two unique ticket opportunities: $13 District Tickets and $10 KeyBank Kids Tickets. The District Ticket comes with one free drink, and the Kids Ticket caters to families and allows for convenient access to the Kids Clubhouse and redesigned Family Deck.
The District Ticket is for a standing-room-only seat, but the Indians' ongoing renovations have added even more social-gathering spaces throughout the ballpark. Fans can not only gather on the Home Run Porch, but there will also be new social areas behind the new bullpens in center field and in and around the new two-story bar that will be in the right-field corner.
Fans who purchase the District Ticket will be able to have their first drink (a 12-ounce domestic beer for those 21 or older, a Pepsi product or bottled water) for free by having their ticket scanned at the concession stand.
The Kids Ticket is for children 12 and under and must be purchased with an adult ticket (maximum of two kids per adult). The tickets are located in the Family Deck, which was formerly known as the Mezzanine section and is near the expanded, two-level Kids Clubhouse. There will be a two-story slide and an interactive locker room indoors, plus pitching, fielding and hitting activities outdoors.
The District and Kids tickets are limited in quantity and must be purchased online, and the April 10 home opener is not included. The tickets will be available when single-game tickets go on sale to fans registered for the Online Onsale on Tuesday. Fans can sign up for the Online Onsale through Friday at Indians.com/OnlineOnsale.
