Johnson skips bullpen session with jammed finger

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Orioles right-hander Steve Johnson did not throw his scheduled bullpen session Monday because he jammed his right middle finger during pitchers' fielding practice Sunday.

Johnson was scheduled to get an X-ray Monday afternoon, but didn't think it was anything serious.

"It felt a lot better than it did [Sunday], just got to ice it," he said.

"Hopefully it's a day thing and [I'm back out there]."
