GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Dodgers pitchers Zack Greinke and Joel Peralta resumed playing catch Sunday, manager Don Mattingly reported.
Greinke on Thursday received a lubricating injection in his right elbow as a precautionary measure to head off usual Spring Training discomfort. The injection, generally of hyaluronan, is frequently used by arthritis patients seeking pain relief by adding the lubricant to creaky joints.
Peralta is being eased into action after experiencing minor right shoulder discomfort during a bullpen session.
