St. Peter has three messages for fans on Presidents' Day

MINNEAPOLIS -- In honor of Presidents' Day on Monday, asked the 30 club presidents to give three messages to their fan base before the start of the 2015 season.

Twins president Dave St. Peter took the time to give his three messages to Twins fans, emphasizing the organization's mission to building a winning baseball team after struggling the last four years. Here's what St. Peter had to say:

• "My first message to our fans is thank you. Over the last several years, we haven't had the type of on-field product they've come to expect and know and love and they deserve. There isn't a day that goes by that our organization isn't thankful for the patience and support of our fans. So I think that's No. 1. We feel very blessed."

• "The second one would be is that there's a significant level of hope, and we believe we have a building block for the future of the Twins. We believe that future starts here in 2015. We think we'll take a significant step forward with Paul Molitor at the helm as the manager of our baseball team. So we're really excited to get started here in the next couple of weeks."

• "The last message for me would be that we have a commitment to do whatever we can to build a winning baseball team, not only for one year, but for the long term. We also continue to invest heavily in the gameday experience at Target Field and invest in our community to do everything we can to make sure that our fans are proud to be a part of Twins Territory."
