Baker impressed with Draft payoff

|
WASHINGTON -- The latest Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft will be held Monday and manager Dusty Baker was asked before Saturday's game if he has seen the organization improve in the Draft.

"Heck yeah," Baker said. "I've only been here a short period of time. It usually takes three to five years to reap the harvest of Drafts. Some of this is [general manager Walt Jocketty's] Drafts, and some of this is [former general manager] Wayne Krivsky's Drafts. You have to give both of them credit."
