The Piano Man is returning to Fenway Park. Legendary musician Billy Joel will play his second concert at the Red Sox's ballpark on July 16, making him the first artist to perform at the venue two consecutive years.
"How awesome is it that as we dig out of a New England blizzard, we can turn our thoughts to The Piano Man playing again on a summer night at Fenway Park?" said Red Sox executive vice president and chief operating officer Sam Kennedy. "Thank you, Billy Joel!"
Joel has sold 150 million records throughout his historic career, making him the sixth-best-selling recording artist of all time. Joel is also the recipient of six Grammy Awards, including the prestigious Grammy Legend Award.
Joel, who has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, received The Kennedy Center Honors, one of the United States' top cultural awards, in December 2013.
Tickets for the performance go on sale Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. ET.
