Billy Joel in Concert returns to Citizens Bank Park

Record Breaking Fourth Concert, Thursday, August 13th. Public on-sale Friday, January 30th at 10AM

Live Nation has announced today that legendary musician Billy Joel will return to Citizens Bank Park on Thursday, August 13th. This summer marks Joel's fourth appearance at the Phillies ballpark and sets the record for live performances by an artist in the venue's history. Most recently, Joel performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Citizens Bank Park last August. 

"This year marks the 10th anniversary of concerts at Citizens Bank Park," said Michael Stiles, Phillies Senior Vice President, Administration and Operations. "We are proud to lead off with the exciting news that legendary artist Billy Joel will take to the stage for the fourth time at our world-class ballpark on Thursday, August 13, performing here more than any other entertainer in the history of Citizens Bank Park."

Having sold 150 million records over the past quarter century, Billy Joel ranks as one of most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history. The singer/songwriter/composer is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time, the third best-selling solo artist and is one of the highest grossing touring artists in the world.
