Braves Country Caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, sets out on tour of Southeast

Details announced for January 22 visit to metro Atlanta area

With the 2015 Major League Baseball season quickly approaching, the Atlanta Braves are setting out into Braves Country for their annual caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors. The caravan will make stops throughout the Southeast starting on Tuesday, January 20, and concluding on Saturday, January 31.

The Braves Country Caravan gives fans the opportunity to interact with Braves players, coaches and broadcasters before the new season kicks off in April. Caravan stops will include autograph sessions at Academy Sports + Outdoors stores, community appearances, and private events with A List Members.

Thursday, January 22 - metro Atlanta area

Scheduled to appear: Mike Minor, A.J. Pierzynski, Jon Hursh, Joey Terdoslavich, Carlos Tosca, Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez and Braves broadcaster Don Sutton***

2-4 p.m. - Habitat for Humanity Build

Players will visit a build site and participate in construction activities for a Habitat for Humanity home.
