Open auditions for 2015 Marlins Energy Team on January 24

Marlins Park welcomes dancers, cheerleader, gymnasts and breakdancers for auditions.

MIAMI - The Miami Marlins will host preliminary auditions for the 2015 Marlins Energy Team at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 24 at Marlins Park. The open auditions will be broken down into three sessions: female and male dancers, co-ed cheerleaders and gymnasts, and breakdancers. All performers must be at least 18 years of age and provide a resume with a headshot.

The Miami Marlins Energy Team is a high-energy squad with a unique mix of gymnastics, hip-hop, acrobatics, modern jazz funk and breakdancing. The Energy Team provides excitement and entertainment during Miami Marlins home games and appearances throughout the community. All rehearsals, games and community appearances are paid events.

The Marlins Energy Team will perform at Marlins Park, receive exposure through media, high profile events and community relations, and receive extensive training in various styles by the best choreographers and coaches in Miami. Former Marlins dancers include Stef Ruiz and Adriana Navas of The Most Bad Ones (Pitbull's dancers), and FOX's Season 11 "So You Think You Can Dance" winner Ricky Ubeda
