Rangers to conduct coaching clinic on Jan. 25

ARLINGTON -- Rangers manager Jeff Banister and members of his coaching staff will conduct a clinic for area youth baseball coaches on Jan. 25 at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The classroom-style clinic, which is open to youth baseball coaches at no charge, is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is limited and can be done at texasrangers.com/camps.

The clinic will include instruction on pitching mechanics, baseball philosophies, planning a practice, and hitting. Participants will also receive lunch and a Rangers goodie bag.

The Rangers Hall of Fame will serve as the location for the clinic, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. CT. Instruction will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the clinic is expected to conclude around 3:00 p.m.
