Bernadina set to join Rockies on Minor League deal

The Rockies have reportedly signed outfielder Roger Bernadina to a Minor League deal, according to Baseball America. The club has not confirmed the report.

Bernadina, 30, appeared in 53 games with the Reds and the Dodgers last season, batting just .167 with a homer, nine RBIs and two stolen bases.

In his seven Major League seasons, Bernadina also has played for the Nationals (2008-13) and Phillies ('13). Over 548 career games, Bernadina has hit .236 with a .661 OPS.
