Twins announce 2015 spring training invites

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today 18 players on minor league contracts have been invited to major league spring training camp in 2015.

Joining the Twins will be six pitchers: right-handers Jose Berrios, Tyler Duffey, Mark Hamburger and Adrian Salcedo; left-handers Ryan O'Rourke and Taylor Rogers; catchers Mitch Garver, Tyler Grimes, Dan Rohfling and Stuart Turner; infielders James Beresford, Doug Bernier, Argenis Diaz and Heiker Meneses; outfielders Byron Buxton, Eric Farris, Danny Ortiz and Shane Robinson.

Of the 18 players, four have major league service time: Mark Hamburger (Texas Rangers), Doug Bernier (Twins), Argenis Diaz (Pittsburgh Pirates) and Shane Robinson (St. Louis Cardinals).

The Twins currently have 58 players scheduled to report to 2015 spring training.
