The Giants have reportedly reached an agreement to bring back free-agent reliever Sergio Romo on a two-year contract worth $15 million.
Romo, 31, has spent his entire Major League career with the Giants and has served as an instrumental part of the back end of their bullpen. FOXSports.com first reported the agreement Wednesday afternoon, and says it is pending a physical.
In 58 innings this past season, Romo went 6-4 with a 3.72 ERA and 23 saves while serving as both a setup man and closer. He has 78 career saves for the Giants over the past four seasons.
