Dodgers complete Jensen trade with Marlins

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers sent Minor League right-handed pitcher Craig Stem to the Marlins on Monday to complete the trade that brought them outfielder Kyle Jensen.

Stem, who turns 25 next month, was a 15th-round Draft pick in 2011. He split time between Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga and Double-A Chattanooga in '14, struggling to an 0-3 mark and 8.06 ERA after his promotion.

Jensen was acquired Nov. 17 for Minor League depth, but he is at risk of being designated for assignment as the Dodgers need roster spots for the signings of pitchers Brett Anderson and Brandon McCarthy and the trades for Jimmy Rollins, Yasmani Grandal and Joe Wieland, which might be completed on Tuesday.
