Didi Gregorius Has Been Knighted
Didi Gregorius has pretty big shoes to fill as the Yankees' first shortstop in the post-Derek Jeter era. But the newest Yankee does have one thing that Jeter never did: he has been officially knighted. In 2011, Gregorius was part of the Netherlands team that won the IBAF Baseball World Cup. Rather than receive prize money, the entire team was knighted in Curacao. That explains the "Sir" in his Twitter name!
I Want to thank the diamondbacks for the opportunity they gave me to be part of the team ... New chapter with the Yankees

Gregorius is full of cool surprises.
