DeShields, 22, has spent his entire professional career in the Houston system since being selected by the Astros in the first round (8th overall) of the 2010 June draft. He spent last season with Double-A Corpus Christi, batting .236 (97-411) with 11 home runs and 57 RBI over 114 games. DeShields entered this year rated by Baseball America as the 13th-best prospect in the Houston organization, and played in the outfield after appearing exclusively as a second baseman over his first 3 pro campaigns. He spent the bulk of last season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in the Yankees system, batting .271 in 93 games while going 26-for-27 in steal attempts. He has had 25-or-more stolen bases in 9 of his 10 seasons in the minors, going 344-for-405 (84.9%) in his minor league career. A four-time selection in MLB's June draft, he was born in the Bahamas and finished his collegiate career at Vanderbilt University.

He went 2-2 with a 4.85 ERA (46 ER/85.1 IP) over 23 games/13 starts with 41 strikeouts against 27 walks in South Korea in 2014.   Wolf was in the Texas organization for the bulk of 2012-13, including a 1-3 record and 4.15 ERA (22 ER/47.2 IP) over 22 games/3 starts for the Rangers in 2013, when he spent nearly all of the season's final four months in the majors.

Martinez, 22, combined to bat .229 (22-96) over 31 games with Low-A Greensboro and short-season Batavia in the Marlins system in 2014.
