Twins Spring Training tickets go on sale via phone, Web on Saturday, January 10

Spring Training season and group tickets are now on sale

MINNEAPOLIS /St. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Twins today announced that single-game tickets for the 2015 Spring Training campaign go on sale on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 9 a.m. EST (8 a.m. CST) online at twinsbaseball.com or by calling 1-800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467).

Due to ongoing construction at the CenturyLink Sports Complex, tickets will not be available at the Hammond Stadium box office on January 10. The newly renovated box office at the CenturyLink Sports Complex will open on a to-be-determined date prior to the start of Spring Training.

For the first time, fans attending Spring Training in 2015 will be able to experience the completed upgrades to the CenturyLink Sports Complex. Upgrades include substantial changes to Hammond Stadium including expanded concourses, new concessions and restrooms, as well as an expansive multi-level team store. Additional renovations include upgraded premium seating, new suites with improved views, additional spaces for group seating, a press box renovation and clubhouse expansion, further enhancing the experience for visitors and players alike.

Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Sunday, Feb. 22, with their first workout slated for Monday, Feb. 23. The balance of the squad is scheduled to report on Friday, Feb. 27, with full-squad workouts beginning on Saturday, Feb. 28.

The Twins' 2015 schedule features 33 games (17 home, 16 road) in total starting with an exhibition game against the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Grapefruit League play begins the following day (Thursday, March 5) with a home game against the Boston Red Sox. The Twins also face the Red Sox on their final Spring Training game at Hammond Stadium on Saturday, April 4.

Additional highlights of the Twins' home Grapefruit League schedule include two more games against the Red Sox (April 1 and 2); three visits by the AL East Division Champion Baltimore Orioles (March 8, 18 and 21); a visit by the NL Central Division Champion St. Louis Cardinals (March 15); two visits by the NL Wild Card Pittsburgh Pirates (March 20 and 27); and a visit by the New York Yankees (March 31).
