The American League's 3-1 victory over the National League in '97 was the first game in what would become a sting of AL dominance. This game marked the first of a run in which the AL went 12-0-1 over a 13-year span. Sandy Alomar stole the show in the game with a two-run homer in front of the hometown fans at Jacobs Field in Cleveland.
