The National League blanked the American League, 6-0, in 1996 at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. While the NL pitchers -- led by John Smoltz, Kevin Brown, Tom Glavine and Pedro Martinez -- shut down the AL bats, the big story was Mike Piazza. The Dodgers catcher grew up in the Philadelphia area and homered and doubled in front of his hometown fans.
