The '82 season saw the All-Star Game leave the United States for the first time in its history, with the Classic traveling north of the border to Olympic Stadium in Montreal. The National League, led by Dave Concepcion's two-run homer in the second, extended its winning streak to 11 straight games with a 4-1 victory. For the American League, Rickey Henderson went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in his five trips to the plate.
