Dodger Stadium hosted its first and only All-Star Game in 1980, 18 years after the ballpark first opened its doors. American League starter Steve Stone tossed three perfect innings with three strikeouts and Boston's Fred Lynn broke the scoreless draw in the fifth with a two-run homer, but the National League would eventually win it, 4-2. Ken Griffey took home MVP honors, going 2-for-3 with a solo homer.
