Cookie Rojas' clutch two-run home run in the eighth inning gave the American League a 3-2 lead going into the ninth. However, the National League once again worked its magic, tying things up in the ninth and then winning the game in the 10th on an RBI single by Joe Morgan. It marked the NL's ninth win over a 10-year span.
