When the National League scored a run in the bottom of the first inning -- on a single, an error, a wild pitch and a double play -- it would have been impossible to know that would be the game's only run. But pitching dominated the All-Star game again and the NL rode its pitching staff, which included four consecutive Hall of Fame pitchers, to a shutout.
