The 1958 All-Star Game at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore is the only Midsummer Classic in history without an extra-base hit by either team. White Sox second baseman Nellie Fox was the only player to record a multihit game, and his exploits proved to be the difference in a 4-3 American League victory. Fox went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
