In what's probably the greatest comeback in All-Star Game history, the National League scored five combined runs in the seventh and eighth innings to send the contest to extras tied at 5. Stan Musial won the game for the National League with a 12th-inning homer at Milwaukee County Stadium, just the second of three walk-off homers in All-Star Game history.
