April Ballpark Pass - FAQs

Q: Which games are included with my April Ballpark Pass?
A: The April Ballpark Pass includes tickets to all 11 home games in April except Opening Day. For a limited time only, fans will be able to add Opening Day tickets at the time of purchase.

Q: What happens if a game is rained out?
A: The rain cancellation policy for the April Ballpark Pass is the same as the policy for a regular ticket. If the game is postponed and rescheduled on a date that did not have a previously scheduled game or is rescheduled to become a part of a split double header, your Passes are valid for the rescheduled game. The full White Sox cancellation policy can be found here.

Q: Which phones are supported?
A: The pass is supported by iPhones and Android phones. The MLB.com Ballpark app must also be downloaded for use of the April Ballpark Pass.

Q: Can I use an iPod touch?
A: No, we only support iPhones and Android phones, not iPods.

Q: Why do I need to use an iPhone or Android phone?
A: The April Ballpark Pass is a mobile-only program integrated with the MLB.com Ballpark app. There are no printed tickets. Admission to Guaranteed Rate Field and seat assignments will be managed through the app.

Q: Can I purchase the pass if I don't have an iPhone or Android phone?
A: Not at this time. You will be unable to enter Guaranteed Rate Field.

ENTERING GUARANTEED RATE FIELD

Q: How do I get into Guaranteed Rate Field with my April Ballpark Pass?
A: Your ticket for all games included with your pass can be found in the MLB.com Ballpark app. Download the MLB.com Ballpark app and create (or login to a pre-existing) MLB.com account using the same email address you purchased your April Ballpark Pass with. This will provide you with a digital barcode that you can use to scan for admission into Guaranteed Rate Field.

Q: Am I allowed to enter Guaranteed Rate Field before I receive my seat location for that game?
A: No, you will need to receive and accept your seat location before entering the ballpark. You will be directed to different parts of the ballpark upon entering based on your seat location.

Q: How does my guest scan in?
A: All barcodes will be on one device inside MLB.com Ballpark app. If you have a group of two, for example, both barcodes can be scanned from one device. You and your guest will need to arrive at Guaranteed Rate Field together.

APRIL BALLPARK PASS SEAT LOCATIONS

Q: Am I guaranteed a seat for all 11 games with the April Ballpark Pass?
A: Yes! Approximately five hours before first pitch on each game day, your Passes will be updated for you to accept your seat location. Your seat will either be in Upper Corners, Upper Reserved, Outfield Reserved or Lower Corners! Please note that the time you accept does not impact which seat location you're assigned.

Q: What if I lose the text message with my pass?
A: If you can't access your ballpark pass via text message, simply access the MLB.com Ballpark app and tap on the "April Ballpark Pass" tab under the Gameday Guide. You can email questions to listen@expapp.com at any time to receive a timely support response.

Q: What do I do if I need ADA seating?
A: We're happy to accommodate you! Please go to Guest Services at Gate 4, and inform them that you need ADA seats for your April Ballpark Pass. You will still need the April Ballpark Pass barcodes to enter the ballpark, and need to accept your seats in the app.

EXCHANGING PASSES

Q: Can I sell my pass for games that I do not attend?
A: No, passes are non-transferable.

Q: Can I share my pass with someone else?
A: Passes cannot be shared. Admission to Guaranteed Rate Field and seat assignments will be managed through the MLB.com Ballpark app on your mobile device.
